Boots Botanics Eye Shadow Review

Hello again!

Today I’m reviewing a very exciting product ~ Boots Botanics Eye Shadow Duo in White Peach. Boots  is actually a Drugstore from the UK. I’ve never seen any products from Boots in the states … but I was completely overjoyed when I came across the Boots Botanics line as I was wandering through the Target cosmetics section {where I often find myself leisurely strolling amongst the somewhat endless rows of lipsticks, blushes, and mascaras}. The White Peach Eye Shadow Duo caught my eye immediately ~ it was love at first sight! The olive-green shimmer shade on the right is what I was really interested in. Earthy tones usually work best with my skin and eye color, but I realised right then and there that I don’t own any eye shadows in this unique olive. I just had to have the duo in White Peach {As if I don’t already own enough makeup.}

As far as application goes, Boots Botanics really does a number on eye shadows! I have to say, this is one of the highest quality drugstore eye shadows I’ve ever used. The colors look so lovely together. I used the shimmery nude color as a base and then used the olive green in my crease to add some definition. The colors in this duo suit each other and my brown eyes perfectly! I love that the olive-green adds a little bit of a unique touch while still having an earthy, natural look. The shadows applied smoothly and lasted all day with minimal fade and as an extra bonus, Boots Botanics uses “The Power of Plants” {Which also happens to be their tag line}. Sound too good to be true?  Maybe ~ but I’m so happy it is.
