TRY-ON HAUL! Asos, Missguided, Zara, Meshki Boutique

Time for a try-on haul!! I don’t do too much fashion content here on youtube, but if you’re part of the insta fam or snap fam, you may know what my style is. I love feeling comfortable and confident in what I wear so that’s primarily what I shop for! For this haul, I did lots of online shopping at asos, missguided, Zara and Meshki Boutique. Hope you enjoy!!! xo

Looking for a fun way to spice up your style? DUTCH BRAIDS!

I’ve been seeing this hairstyle EVERYWHERE. Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest.. you name it! This a quick and easy hairstyle that will be huge in 2016.

Street style has been trending for a while now. The art of taking “casual” and turning it into “coveted” has become the new norm and I’m loving it 👌🏼Now… street stye doesn’t just stop at runners, fitted sweats, and a basic tee – this hairstyle is a perfect finishing touch. It adds a sense of intricacy while still maintaining that “I didn’t try too hard” feel. I really do love the look of it. Plus it’s great if you just want an easy hairstyle to get your hair out of your face!

Processed with VSCOcam with 4 presetThe How To:

  • To begin, part the hair either down the middle or where your hair naturally parts
  • Clip one half up and separate the other half of hair into three small sections at the scalp
  • Tuck each outside section underneath the middle section
  • Continuously add to the three sections as you braid from the scalp to the ends
  • Keep braiding until you get to the very ends of your hair, then tie with a clear elastic.
  • Repeat on other half of hair

As you can tell, a dutch braid is basically an inverted french braid, so if you know how to french braid your hair, this will come easy. The biggest difference between a dutch braid and a french braid is that you cross the three sections underneath each other so the braid is raised up rather than flat to the scalp. Personally, I love the more “raised up” look. It adds volume and shape that isn’t usually possible with a french braid. I also like to tug at the braids after they’re secured to make them a little loser and make my hair look thicker. Seriously loving this style! You’ll definitely be seeing a lot of it on my InstagramProcessed with VSCOcam with 4 presetWould you rock this trendy dutch braid look?
