I’ve been in the market for a new powder brush for quite some time now. I’ve been searching (endlessly, it seems) for a well-made brush – and that’s just what I found with ecoTools. EcoTools is an eco-friendly and cruelty-free brand that specializes in soft-bristled makeup brushes. What’s not to love, right?
I decided to try the ecoTools Retractable Kabuki Brush and I’m so happy I did! Just like it claims, the bristles are as you can imagine! I really like how it applies powder to my face. The kabuki brush gives a flawless finish – the right amount of coverage but never cakey – because of it’s soft but dense bristles.
The main reason I opted for the Retractable Kabuki Brush is it’s ingenious design. I travel a lot, so I’m always on the hunt for products that make life-on-the-go a breeze. This brush is compact, has a protective lid, and is retractable (of course)! This means I can throw it into my purse or makeup bag without the worry of it getting ruined in travel.
With ecoTools Retractable Kabuki Brush, I can honestly say, a flawless face is all in the brush!
So I’m a bit of a Lush newbie. This was probably my second time in the store. I don’t know why I’ve never gotten more into it – I love this store!!! Everything in the store is handmade and created with nourishing, all-natural ingredients that you just know are going to be good for your skin and body.
I picked up the Popcorn Lip Scrub whilst roaming the store and I literally could not put it down. It smells like a bag of kettle corn that’s just died and gone to a heavenly oasis of salty sweet. INDESCRIBABLE!
Because of the fact that I couldn’t stop smelling it in store, I decided I should definitely take this one home with me. So I did… and my lips have never felt smoother. I’ve never used a lip scrub before, but Popcorn was definitely an excellent way to introduce myself to the concept!
I used this lip scrub while I was taking a relaxing bath. I took off my makeup for the day then scrubbed a pea-size amount of Popcorn onto my lips. I spent a few minutes buffing the product in (because this was very satisfying!) then proceeded to apply a second coat (because the product just smells so good!). As I was soaking in my bath, I read that you can actually lick off the excess product! And boy, does it taste like a salty sweet oasis. With Popcorn Lip Scrub from Lush, you truly can have your cake and eat it to… or I guess in this case have soft lips and lick them too!
Above all Lush’s Popcorn Lip Scrub has given me an excellent reason to do a huge Lush haul on my YouTube channel 😉
I’ve raved about LVX before, and this gorgeous nude is right up the same alley.
LVX Rive is one of the best nudes I’ve tried. I’ve found that nudes with a tan hue work best my olive skin tone. The polish went on like smooth satin and settled really nicely into my nails. Lately, I’ve been wearing lots of Spring pastels, but today I felt like taking a bit of a hiatus from those trendy mints and lilacs. I just love the classy touch that a nude polish brings to your nails – especially Rive by LVX.
As I’ve mentioned before, I love this brand. LVX is cruelty-free, vegan, and nontoxic… but over everything, I love LVX because of their superior quality and chip-free formula. LVX Rive is a beautiful nude with a wonderful formula – perfect anytime of year!
Can I just say….. I LOVE this electric blue shade from LVX . Usually, I stick to monotonous shades of red or pink.. you know, the oh-so-typical colors you’d expect to find on any plain Jane pushing the envelope with a classic, elegant red mani. Needless to say, this bright blue definitely made me feel like I was stepping out of my comfort zone. #love !
This is the first time I’ve used LVX nail polish, but it applied smoothly and dried pretty quickly. The best part is, it’s cruelty free, vegan-friendly, and free of toxic chemicals! The brand claims to have a “chip-free” formula ~ fingers crossed this beautiful shade won’t chip too soon!
If you’re in the market for a nice blue shade, definitely check out Cerulean by LVX!
